Gelato's design editor offers tools to improve the quality of your images. They come with Gelato+ and Gelato+ Gold subscriptions. Take advantage of these tools and enable your products to be produced in the best possible outcome!
Auto-enhance
This tool applies technology to an uploaded image to improve the colors. The result is a brighter image that will generate a better product.
Go to 'Files' on the left-hand side, then select the 'Effects' option on the tool bar located at the top. Select the option Auto-enhance.
The enhanced image will appear in your recently used files.
Upscale Image
This tool helps you improve the resolution, quality, and clarity of the image. It can be used in various types of images, including JPEG, PNG, BMP, and TIFF, among others.
At the moment we only upscale 2x as default, but we are working to improve this and allow more upscaling options (up to 8x!)
The upscale tool can help you sell more products! With just one click you can apply your designs to more products, with the confidence that the end result will be a beautiful and high-quality image.
Below you can see the editor highlighted the low resolution of the image with a warning sign. The original dpi was 93. After using the Upscale tool, the dpi doubled to 186 and the image became much clearer.
