Matte Paper Availability In Latin America

Printing in Latin America is generally not done on thick matte (or uncoated) paper. Paper and print suppliers in this region therefore do not support this. This limitation is also applicable to Mexico, Brazil and Chile. Here are the limitations:

  • Mexico: Matte paper thicker than 115gsm not supported
  • Brazil: Matte paper thicker than 250gsm not supported
  • Chile: Matte paper not supported

We recommend to use Silk paper of equivalent thickness for your print needs in Latin America.

The only way to support matte paper of all thickness in Latin American countries is to ship it from a different continent, but that goes against the sustainability commitment that we share with you.
