How do I create a new Gelato account?

Creating an account to use Gelato is very simple!

  1. Sign up
  2. Add a payment method
  3. Connect your store

and you are ready to start selling!


1. Sign up

First, go to and click on "Sign up for free"



You will be able to sign up with Google, Facebook, Apple, or with your email. We'll ask you a bit about you and your company to tailor your experience.


Welcome to your account!

Your account is now ready and you can place an order to test our products.



2. Add payment method

In order to be able to process your orders, you will need to provide a valid credit card (click here to read more). In addition, Gelato offers the possibility to process orders in 14 different currencies using Wallets (click here to read more).


Add your credit card by clicking on your initials in the upper right corner of the dashboard and navigating to Billing > Payment > Methods.


You can configure your Wallets in the same section of the dashboard by choosing the "Wallets" instead of "Methods":



3. Connect your e-commerce store to Gelato

If you are using ShopifyEtsy, WooCommerce, or any of the below-mentioned platforms we offer dedicated integrations, just follow the link to read more on how to set them up.


If you are using another e-commerce platform or have your own custom-built website, you can connect to Gelato using our integration with Order Desk (click here to read more) or via our API.
