Where can I find the flat rates for shipping?

You can find the flat shipping rates in the product catalog on each product's page - see example below. The rates indicated in the table are the standard shipping costs for the first product (i.e. if you order 1 item) and for any additional product (i.e. if you order more than 1 item in the same order).

Note: Flat shipping rates are applied to most of the products in our catalog. Products without flat shipping rates have variable shipping prices depending on the destination country.

The shipping rates in the product catalog are shown in the same currency as the product prices which depends on your billing address. Also, the flat shipping rates are fixed in EUR. If you are selling in a different currency, the current exchange rate will be applied at the moment of the order.

Note: The flat shipping price we offer for a geographical area (e.g. Europe) is the minimum common shipping rate we can offer for all the countries within that area. This means that you might find some countries where a cheaper shipping method is available when using live shipping prices, e.g. if you place a manual order through the Gelato Dashboard.

Geographical areas

For flat shipping rates, we have divided the world into the following geographical areas:

Note: For some products, not all the shipping areas might be visible, which means that shipping for that product might not be supported in that area.

Calculating shipping price using flat rates

For orders containing one product or multiple items of the same product, the total shipping price is calculated as follows:

First product shipping price + [ Additional product shipping price x (Quantity - 1) ]

One product

First Product price

E.g. 1 mug shipped to the US is €6.30

Two (or more) of the same product

First product price + Additional product price for each additional product

E.g. 2 canvases 18x24in shipped to BR is: €19.45 (first product) + €9.60 (additional product) = €29.05

For other orders, the following logics are applied depending on the case:

Two of the same product in different sizes

Highest first product price + Additional product price for each additional product

E.g. 1 poster A4 and 1 poster 70x100 to EU is: €5.55(first product price for the large poster as it is the most expensive) + €0.25 (additional product price for the small poster) = €5.80

Two different products in the same order from different locations

You can read more about this case here.

Express shipping
