Gelato is a fully white-labelled solution. As such, we don't send any information directly to your end-customers.
At the same time, we forward shipping information along with tracking number to Shopify. If you use Shopify built-in shipping notifications emails and SMS, this will also trigger Shopify shipping notifications to your end-customers. If that Shopify shipping notification email template includes tracking number, that will also be included.
You will then see the following in your order history in Shopify:
Although it says "Gelato: Print on demand sent a shipping update...", the notification will come from you and not directly from Gelato.
