How to start?

To get started, you'll need a Gelato+ Gold subscription and to follow our recommended filename structure for your uploaded files.

Preparing your files and file names

For the best results, we strongly recommend naming your files with the pattern: {order_number}_{order_item_number}.<file-extension>

This ensures that each file is unique and can be easily identified by our system. The extension can be JPEG, PNG, or PDF

How to set up the Amazon S3 Bucket account?

In addition to following our recommended filename structure, you'll also need to set up an Amazon S3 bucket to which you can upload your files. Gelato can access your files from anywhere as long as they are publicly available and can be accessed in a structured way. If you don't already have an Amazon AWS account, you can sign up and use their S3 storage solution to host your files.

Once you've set up your S3 bucket and uploaded your files using our recommended filename structure, you can provide the full file path, including the domain and folders, to the store settings in the Gelato dashboard.
