Can I try Gelato Plus for free?

Yes, you can. There's a 30-day free trial period. Once the trial ends, we'll automatically charge for your chosen subscription plan. You can cancel your subscription anytime by going to your Gelato Dashboard > Settings > My Account > Subscription plan. Each Gelato account gets only 1 free trial period. You will receive an email reminder 3 days before the trial period is over. 

What is the subscription time for Gelato Plus?

If you have chosen monthly the subscription is renewed every 30 days. If you have chosen an annual subscription then it is renewed every 365 days. 

What is the price for Gelato Plus? 

Gelato Plus costs €9.99 / month or €99.99 / year (that's 2 months free!)

How can I pay for Gelato Plus?

You can pay for your Gelato Plus subscription with a credit card.

I signed up before Gelato Plus was launched (but I'm not a Plus customer). Can I use apps without subscribing to Plus?

You will retain access to Shutterstock Essential and Full collection. To access all other apps you will need to upgrade to Gelato Plus. 

What happens with my apps if I cancel my Gelato Plus subscription as an existing customer?

All apps will be uninstalled. You will continue to have unlimited users and stores. Any orders that use an app such as Product personalization will fail. You can easily upgrade again and get access to it. 

Can I buy apps individually?
You access apps by subscribing to Gelato Plus. Apps can’t be bought separately. 

Will my Gelato Plus subscription be renewed automatically? 

Yes, but you can cancel at any time.

What happens to my orders that use apps if I cancel my Gelato Plus subscription?

All apps will be uninstalled if you cancel your Gelato Plus subscription. Any orders that use an app such as Product personalization will fail. You can easily upgrade again and get access to it.

I signed up before Gelato Plus was launched and I am currently using features that will only be available for Gelato Plus users. Will I lose access to these features after my subscription trial? 

No, you will not lose access to the features that you had when you originally signed up. All your stores and users will not be affected.

Will I need to have Shopify Plus/Advanced plans in order to use live shipping rates, or is the Gelato Plus subscription all I need?

You will need to have either the Advanced Shopify or Shopify Plus plan, as this is a Shopify requisite for using live rates in their stores. You can find more information about this function here.

What is workflow automation?

If you sell personalized products such as pet portraits, turning photos into custom drawings or similar, Gelato can help automate the uploading of the finalized print files for automatic fulfillment. You wouldn't need to manually upload each file after it is completed. (In your store settings this is called “Automatic fulfillment from remote file storage”)

 

Managing your subscription:

View subscription

To manage the Plus subscription go to Billing → Subscription plan. A popup is shown with the current subscriptions.

Download invoices/receipts

Go to Billing - Subscription plan → Billing History. Select the invoice to download.

Canceling a subscription

To cancel a subscription go to Billing - Subscription plan → click on the subscription. Choose ‘cancel subscription’
