Etsy is going to withdraw its integration with V2 APIs soon, and only leave the newer V3 version available. Once this occurs any stores connected using the Etsy-Gelato V2 integration will stop working, and you will need to upgrade your stores to V3 APIs for them to function. Affected stores will soon have a notification, and you will be able to upgrade by following the simple steps below:
All new stores created from the 20th of September are already using the new Etsy V3 APIs.
Etsy has announced that they are expecting to roll this out on the 31st of March, 2023 so it is important to upgrade as soon as possible.
How it works:
Look for a prompt in the store listing and the store page;
Click the “Update connection” button and you will be redirected to Etsy for re-authentication;
Once approved, you will be redirected back to the Gelato store, and the upgrade will be complete.
